I think I'll add just the same two lines to each verse:
it just happens, just like that, someone will be blamed
you can reason, you can argue, the result's the same
Then I've put down a first draft for the bridge:
just one shot
just one second
just some little lapse
just one hit
just one mistake
make your world collapse
I'm not quite happy with the 'shot', though, it gives the lyrics a wrong drift.
