I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...
I've worked on the bridge:
one blow
one stroke
just some minor lapse
one blow
one stroke
make your world collapse
And I think I'll repeat the lines I added to the verses once more after the bridge as a kind of lift or pre-chorus. Thus, the complete lyrics now read:
tires screeched, we heard a bang and some crunching noise
somebody screamed, then there was a timid, whining voice
it just happens, just like that, someone may be blamed
you can reason, you can argue, the result's the same
in the wink of an eye
with no reason why
a life has faded
into a sigh
in the wink of an eye
the sea was roaring and the surf was pounding violently
a boat was missing somewhere out there in the open sea
it just happens, just like that, someone may be blamed
you can reason, you can argue, the result's the same
in the wink of an eye
with no reason why
a life has faded
into a sigh
in the wink of an eye
one blow
one stroke
just some minor lapse
one blow
one stroke
make your world collapse
it just happens, just like that, someone may be blamed
you can reason, you can argue, the result's the same
in the wink of an eye
with no reason why
a life has faded
into a sigh
in the wink of an eye
