solipsistic creations

Don't worry, the title of my next project will NOT be "solipsistic creations". This expression sprang to my mind for no particular reason during my lunch break yesterday. Out of a sudden there was that thought "I should write some text containing the expression 'solipsistic creations'". I can't even remember having used the word "solipsistic" ever before. Anyway, I put down the first line:

"I'm sitting here lost in a tangle of solipsistic creations" (that could be a reference to my lyrics writing)

Next I discovered that the ending 'ation' is quite fruitful for finding matching rhymes. I put down rhyming lines instantly. Maybe I had to shuffle them back and forth a bit, I don't remember. After the lunch break I had compiled two verses:

I'm sitting here lost in a tangle of solipsistic creations
while trying to relive some of my former reincarnations
the mirror just reflects distorted pictures of my considerations
I feel down and see no way how I could reach higher elevations
I lost my ground when I took to indulging in my own frustrations
now I search for a secret door to escape my limitations

maybe the causes that lie behind my current situation
could be found at some early stage of my socialisation
trying to explain I usually are met with sheer consternation
but then maybe that there is no accepted explanation
