It's one of my very early lyrics - I'm amazed that somebody actually dug it out. Here's the original text:
I feel - I live
floating from the darkness
heading for the light
a thought appears from nowhere
settling in my mind

I try to move my fingers
I try to use my mind
trying to remember
there's nothing I can find

there must have been a past
though it's lost in a haze
