A lunchtime flash of inspiration! I have the chorus for "in the wink of an eye":
in the wink of an eye
with no reason why
a life has faded
into a sigh
in the wink of an eye
My expression "to fade into a sigh" is probably unique - if I can trust Google. Normally, I use Google to check if my expressions are common, this time I had hoped to get a zero result! I love it!
I will work on the verses next weekend.
