Until now, "Joy" has a simple verse - chorus - verse - chorus structure. Instead of adding a bridge I added a little 'outro' or 'tag':
all sorrows fade into the sky
when you're here
The line "all sorrows fade into the sky" takes up the last line from the third - i.e. last - verse, so the whole sequence reads:
...
Hey Joy, don't leave me yet
while you're here the time flies by
when you're around I feel so free
all sorrows fade into the sky
Joy,
when you smile at me I feel so good
Joy,
when we're making love I get so high
Joy,
when we're talking I feel understood
Joy,
when you're with me then I can fly
all sorrows fade into the sky
when you're here
I like this structure particularly because the rhyme on 'y' glues the whole part together: by - sky - high - fly, and yet again: sky.
