I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...
The hook is the outstanding part in song lyrics. It's what people remember and identify the song by. My Swiss/Albanian partner, Flamur, named our song "see inside me" instead of "don't turn your back on me". And he is right! The line "you don't want to see inside" certainly sticks out more prominently than "don't turn your back on me". He has also scrapped its variant "let me make you see inside", so the same line is repeated even more often. I am slightly annoyed by the word "me", though, because it doesn't appear anywhere - and I never meant it to. Never mind.
