I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...
The key scene in Hermann Hesse's "Siddhartha" takes place by the river while Siddhartha is staying with the ferryman. Therefore, I have decided to base my chorus on this part. Here's my chorus:
listen to the river
hear its thousand voices
when it roars, when it whispers,
or rejoices
listen to the river
talk 'bout a thousand choices
while it roars, while it whispers,
or rejoices
become aware of its holy sound
on your quest for your own ground
