sad clowns ...

... are a common cliche, I guess. Since Dave Davies' "death of a clown" I must have had the image of a sad clown in my mind (which actually wouldn't do his song justice, but that's another story - fantastic lyrics, by the way, great imagery). One of my two lunch break lyrics today. The other is called "live between the lines". This one is "I need not fake a smile". I checked www.rhymezone.com for rhymes, discovering "glove" and "half".
