I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...
I have a 'secret' objective: I intend to prepare publishing a complete collection of all lyrics I've written so far as soon as I've accomplished writing 333 unique lyrics, that is excluding rewrites and co-writes (which I will publish in the same collection as well, they just don't count). In the process I will check, correct, and maybe 'tweak' the lot.
Lyric number 330 will be "where shall we end up". It's not yet done, I still need an extended bridge because the verses only have two lines. The chorus goes:
as for you and me
I dont't seem to see
how eventually
we could work it out
we're bound to get stuck
where shall we end up
I've just published #329 on my web site, the title is "will you fancy me". Its idea "if you fancy me I might fancy you" had rested in my scrap book over three years, if not longer. Sometimes ideas take that long to hatch ;-)
