I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...
The other day I watched a YouTube video: The truth about the economy
While the statements may sound quite convincing, and are indeed identical to what German unionists would say - i.e. that strengthening the inner demand for consumer goods could recover a national economy - I got the idea that this would only be true if we still actually had national economies. But we have lived in a global economy since decades. So, simple solutions probably will not work - as plausible as they may appear.
What then is the solution to the economical problems of Greece, Ireland, and - most important - the US? Well, there might exist no solution to our liking, indeeed. Migration is the logical answer. Like with the decline of the Roman Empire poor people are infiltrating the rich nations. The latter may try to fight this, and may develop right-wing political tendencies to no avail. We (the rich nations, I mean) have failed to address the world's problems in time, now we'll have to live with the consequences.
What has all this to do with "lytics in progress"? The answer is quite simple: my next lyrics will deal with migration. I've got a subject, now all I need are the words...
