Julia actually had already written part of the text. Her original lyrics (verse and pre-chorus) read:

cold faces
made out of stone [my suggestion: have turned to stone]
hundreds of hearts
are trembling  [my suggestion: still trembling]
in deep silence,
they want to dance again
fear and laugh again
care and love again

but all that remains is regret
for the wish to own that woman
to be different and unique

the one she wants

After I recommended to swap the persons in the pre-chorus so 'she' would be the one to regret or wish back her own past Julia changed this part to:

but all that remains is regret
is her wish to be that fair woman
to be different and unique
to be the one they want
the one they want

Meanwhile I had informed myself about the myth. Although the song will not retell it, I would like to bring it closer to the myth so the 'stone faces' are explained in some manner. I wrote this verse:

a blinding beauty
female allure
would bring begrudgers
to the scene
and in the end
the turn for the worse
came with Athena's curse
a fiery woman's curse

Before putting these lines together while listening to Julia singing the first verse I had made a few notes:

your blinding beauty
would bring begrudgers to the scene
the urge to destroy you
and your allure
Athena's curse
made turn to stone
who dared behold(ing) you/your face
