dripping pan - finished

The term "dripping pan" sprang to my mind as an association to the expression "I'll roast you" and I simply stuck to it. I find it funny although it doesn't actually make much sense.

Trying to come up with lines for the verses I spotted that the single line I had put down yesterday uses the third person whereas the chorus uses the second, so I re-wrote that line first: "hey, you stupid bugger who tried hitting on my girl".

The rest then kind of wrote itself (the pipe symbols - | - are personal aids indicating short breaks in the tune):

hey, you stupid bugger | who tried hitting on my girl
(I) saw you touch her up | there's no denying it
listen man, actions speak | louder than words
now don't you try talking | your way out of it

stand your ground

(to) start the fight
