I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...

don't expect me to make sense

I've written repeatedly about using 'Gibberish' or dummy text when writing song lyrics. Yet again, I've completed recording the accompaniment for a new song that still lacks lyrics (and, truth be told, a proper tune as well). It seems to turn out rather similar to "drunken night", so that I actually considered using the respective lyrics as provisional text. But as "drunken night" did not provide a perfect fit, I wrote new temporary lyrics that I can use as a template for the final ones. They are supposed to represent meter and rhyme of the new song, they are not supposed to make any sense:

For the VERSES I have:

I asked for an autograph
to receive a punch
all the other people laughed
I just ordered lunch
didn't know where I was wrong
didn't have a hunch

(the first and last verse will only have four lines)

As a provisional CHORUS I put down:

Oh, my sweet girl
where have you gone
Oh, my sweet girl
what have I done

The BRIDGE (just two lines):

all days seem to be the same
my mind seems to go insane

These words will now serve as templates to write the final lyrics. The structure of the song is:

Verse (only four lines)

Verse

Chorus

Verse

Chorus

Bridge

Chorus

Verse (instead of a tag or an outro, again just four lines - maybe the very same lines from the beginning)
