... sort of wrote itself. You may note that the rhyming pattern of the verses is the same as for the chorus. That's not too great, actually. At least the meter differs. I added a lift with a slightly different rhyming pattern: X A X A instead of A B A B. As it comes between verses and the chorus this should make the structure less samey. For the bridge I chose A A B B as its rhyming pattern.
I resorted to a rhyming dictionary only once to look up viable rhymes for "turn", and I discovered "discern".
Here's one verse with lift (that varies a little over the song):

and keeping up slamming the door
