Will be the next MotorPlanet song I'm writing the lyrics for. Holger and I agreed on a 'cheer up'-song: a girl finds herself down and out (I'm going to avoid this very expression because it already has been used once too often) after an 'easy life'. The message of the song then just will read: don't give up (never say die).
I wrote the chorus first:
do keep on trying
you can be flying
at the end of your line
you'll find the light
never say die
In the line "at the end ..." the stress must be on "of" to make it match the tune perfectly.
First notes for the verses:
sleeping rough
sold your body, sold your soul (for a shot; for the short kick of a shot)
easy life, easy money
you were a teen when you found the way
to making easy money
first they were kind and called you "honey"
to keep (up) your self-confidence
to keep up the facade
