The structure of the song is (ignoring the instrumental parts): Verse Chorus Verse Chorus Bridge Chorus Chorus.

The bridge is rather weird, or, say, difficult to work with. Eight or nine lines, most with just three syllables, one with only one. In case you're wondering: yes, I can count till nine. I'm just not sure about the third line that sounds rather low - is it meant like some kind of echo, or does it belong to the main voice?

You cannot write much meaningful text if you've just got one, two or three syllables. This may be the main reason why you find so many "Ohs", "Ahs", "Oh yeahs" in pop lyrics. I only use them as a last resort, but then, sometimes there is no way out.

This is my text:

oh, my life (all my life)
I'll enjoy
no use to be
shy or coy
there's no use
to fret or worry
don't
be obtuse

"use" - "obtuse": you're right if you're smelling the Rhyming Dictionary here. I doubt that I've ever used "obtused" before, I'd probably say "don't be dumb". But actually "obtuse" fits better in the choice of language I'm deploying in this song.

The bridge strengthens the new direction I had given the song in the second verse addressing someone else (the "knight in white"). Actually here "you" could mean anybody, like, say, the listener. This provided an opportunity to vary the chorus a bit adding a general appeal (yes, this is yet another one of my many "carpe diem lyrics" - no harm in this is there?):

let's be dancing through the light
let's enjoy our la la la la lives
let us
make the darkest night
shine just as bright

let's be dancing through the light
let's be dancing through the night
let's be dancing through our lives
make them shine
just as bright
