I've come back to working at "out of control" today. Listening to a slowed down version I tried to match words with the notes. I then checked them with the Midi track at original speed so I could see if they would still be singable. This is what I have got at the moment (I haven't checked the second verse yet, but it's pretty similar to verse one):

Verse:
you wanted me but you tried to chain me
were you kidding
why can't you love me
like other people love
why won't you see
that when you tame or
domesticate a man
you'd get apet
no more a real man
or a real lover

Chorus:
as things are looking now
they are
running out of control
don't know what I could have done
I just can't help it
they're out of control

Verse:
I used to have other girls beside you
were you hoping
that I'd stay with you
in our neat home ('nd)
keep holding hands
that you had tamed me
domesticated me
made me your pet
no more areal man
or a real lover

The song continues with a shortened version of the chorus -I still have to write that - and a repetition of the chorus.

I actually consider these lyrics rather mediocre. But what else would you expect having to cast words to precisely match a tune (it's much easier with my favoured genre, blues rock, because there the tunes are rather loose).
