I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...
Some verses without rhyme, there are enough rhymes in the chorus ;-)
Well, actually there is one rhyme over every two verses or parts: X X X A X X X A
an ordinary day
an ordinary man
an ordinary life
working hard to make a living
an ordinary car
the daily trip to work
at five it's quitting time
not a reason for misgivings
CHORUS
stupefied and numb
it's so hard to find sense
the days drag on and on
no soothing balm, no suture
somehow life goes on
household chores to do
eventually tears dry
first glimpses of a future
CHORUS
BRIDGE [not yet written, maybe some general message in the manner "life is short and may end quite abruptly" which would definitely make this text yet another 'carpe diem song']
