I took neither a writing pad nor a pen with me on my vacation, and I never take a computer. Therefore, I couldn't put down any lyrical ideas, so all I brought back with me is an idea for a chorus:
hold on to your prayers
to your romantic dreams
hold on to your prayers
to your crazy schemes
when there's nothing else
The song is to be about a girl who tries to live a romantic dream and is shattered as it won't stand up to reality. The chorus is actually meant to be cynical.
