I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...
Weird structure... And the composer/singer seemed to have forgotten the tune of the verse when he came to the second verse so it wasn't quite clear what I was supposed to match my words with... Whatever, this is what I've got:
VERSE
hey Baby, I like to watch you dancing
oh Baby, I do feel like romancing
you are my little sunshine
you make me feel fine
CHORUS
we are dancing in the rain while others run - away
we are dancing in the rain to call the sun - again
BREAK
Baby let us dance and
keep moving
oh girl
don't let us ever stop and
keep grooving
oh Baby
VERSE-II
let me hold you in my arms
and take you away
I surrender to your charms
all the way
I close my eyes
tell me sweet lies
make me feel high
Baby
BRIDGE
drifting away
and uncaring where we're going
come bad weather
come good fortune
we don't care
live for the day
take the river where it's flowing
there's bad weather
there's good fortune
everywhere
???
VERSE
hey Baby, I love the way you touch me
oh Baby, I'm with you I feel free
you are my little sunshine
you make me feel fine
CHORUS
we are dancing in the rain while others run - away
we are dancing in the rain to call the sun - again
For the unidentified part I have suggested repeating the words of the part they call 'break'. I have the impression that neither melody nor words play any major role in this kind of dance music that Jen and his partner(s) produce. They just assemble 'beats' and 'loops' and grunt and ramble on top of them. Not my cup of tea! I will leave our cooperation at the two projects described here.
