Flamur, the Albanian I mentioned before, sang "don't turn your back on me" a few days ago and found certain passages difficult to sing or not going well with the tune, so we altered a few words and lines. He's in the studio again today, I believe. Wait and see...
In the end it's the singer - or rather the producer - who has to weed out the tongue twisters and who decides how a song must be sung to be most effective. Sometimes I provide alternatives right from the start, like for example "can't" versus "cannot", to choose whichever flows better.
