I describe my ongoing lyrics writing projects. Where I get my ideas, how I match my words with other people's music, which little helpers I use...
The third verse:
how many were there before?
and what lies did you tell them?
did you tell that you would get a divorce?
what kind of life did you fake?
what did you tell 'bout your past?
have you never been stung with remorse? [I checked RhymeZone.com for viable rhymes for 'divorce']
... and a bridge that changes the perspective a bit:
if I have to destroy you
to save the life we once shared
that is what I'll do
if it's distressing for you
while it is cleansing for us
that's what we'll go through
Done! An angry song*/lyric for female vocals, somehow it didn't seem to work for reversed roles ;-) I have written too few 'female' lyrics, anyway.
*quite obviously we're talking just lyrics here. But believe it or not, I'm hearing the songs when I write the lyrics, if only in my mind. Other people may 'hear' quite different tunes, and the songs that eventually are written to match the words may sound very different altogether, nonetheless all my lyrics have been songs from their very beginning. That's my 'business secret' for obtaining a good 'flow'.
