First my last verse began:

the chrysanthemum flowers
mark the end of the season
for a while

I thought about rhyming "while" with "smile". But since chrysanthema stand for fidelity I also wanted that aspect included. In the end I decided on:

I think of the years, [will have to be sung "year-hears" because the text is one syllable short]
of our past, and the future
shared with you
I will be true
true to you
I will be true

I also decided to have two variants of the chorus. Plants need sun as much as water, so the choruses will alternate between:

and feel blessed with my garden of bliss
like my plants
I revel in the sun
I dance, and I marvel at this
place of rest
isle of love
my world of bliss
