If you think "whole lotta Rossie" when reading the headline - that's it, that's the direction the song is going to go. It has been off and on my mind since quite a while, and a recent discussion on Songwriter101 brought the idea back into my focus. I've even recorded part of the guitar accompaniment so as not to forget it again. No timing issues this time, it's too simple for that, LOL. There's no line of text yet, but the idea is clear: the song is to be about an ugly girl who taught all us young schoolboys the secrets of love - very similar to "whole lotta Rosie" except that it's past, and it's not only "me" but all the boys from school, and we spoke ill of her and humiliated her "officially" while secretly enjoying her services... - maybe not so similar after all ;-)
