What is true with regard to our lives is true for lyrics as well. I changed the lyrics of "air to breathe" adopting suggestions by a fellow songwriter. And I changed the lyrics for "Siddhartha" as well while I was trying out several chord progressions to match the chorus. Whatever I've come up with so far seems to require repeating the line "listen to the river" at the end. All the better, because that's the hook line.
