I am a commuter. Day in, day out the same stretch to work and back again. And I'm supposed to call myself lucky if I'm going on commuting for further five years. Lucky, my gosh!

I'm going by train. There's the advantage that I can read during the ride - if I can seize a seat, that is. Or I can dream. That's better than driving in a car. And faster, too.

This morning I dreamed. And I made up a few lines that I could use in song lyrics:

like a snow flake in the air (it's still winter, you see)

like a leaf floating down a slow-flowing creek (I love this image, so calming)

like a spark in the dark (isn't that a wonderful line? love at first sight!)

like a dim hint of hope (now it's getting a little mystic...)

A few hours later (lunch break) I put down this:

like a feather in the air (a weather-independent alternative)
like divining what you seek (I looked up rhymes for "creek" in Rhymezone.com)
like a leaf floating down
the slow-flowing creek

like a spark in the dark
like a dim hint of hope
that you seem to find
at the end of your rope

there is this thought
