I corrected the meter for one verse, and wrote a third one. So here's the new version for the second verse:

we were proud to be surrounded by a mob of enemies,
mistrusted all authorities, would destroy all hierarchies
our overall ideal was a life in total anarchy

The third verse may not quite fit in with the music yet:

we were so rich, we had so much, but never had enough
we dreamed of freedom, love, and peace, sang 'all you need is love'
with no sense for realities we were as innocent as doves

I'm not quite sure if this is it, even if I can get the meter right.

My textual idea for the bridge is a little text about our kids, something like 'the kids are alright' although we've more or less messed up our own youth. If I shall keep 'all you need is love' it would be nice to have a second - and quite different - musical reference.
