This was a tough one. As easy it is to write for Blues Rock as hard is it writing text to fit a precisely composed melody. I had put down the meter like this:

And this is the text:

There are extra syllables like at "why should they do you down". I checked it against the music: it can be done easily.

neglect
misfit
scapegoat

you're tryin' to remain inconspicuous
and lead a decent life / keep a low profile
you're always kind and not malicious,
you'd never look for strifes
you could be hardly called ambitious
