Lyrics in Progress

I wrote this song - yes, a song with a melody and all - in 2001. Therefore, it actually doesn't belong here. But since I'd mentioned it the other day ...

My niece found my early songs much too dark and negative. She may have thought of songs like "passage" which actually is about her brother, my nephew. But never mind, he'll probably never know. Well, "peaceful times" is not pessimistic or negative at all. Its working title was "happy" which says it all. But it's not a text written with eyes shut either. Later I only exchanged one word, instead of ".. bombs fall from the sky" it now reads ".. bombs fell from the sky".

sunshine in a valley with green grass
